title: "Team Wiki"
description: "Share Team knowledge through the WebUI and Markdown files."
---

Open **Wiki** in your Team menu. The home page and each folder have a guide and an index of their immediate children. The tree highlights the open page and expands the folders that contain it. You can also use the search field above the tree (**Search wiki**). **Show archived pages**, in the **…** menu above the tree, applies to the tree, index and search.

Choose **New page** or **New folder** from the **+** menu above the tree, enter a path, title, purpose and summary, and save. Folder guides use `README.md`; other pages use lowercase filename slugs such as `pricing.md`. Edit the Markdown body directly. **Edit source and metadata** also exposes the YAML frontmatter, including your custom fields. The generated index is separate from the editable source.

When the server acknowledges the save, the editor closes and the page's **Updated** time changes. If confirmation is lost, the original request and any later edits remain in this browser tab; **Retry save** safely checks and resends that operation. Unsaved drafts are kept across reloads and temporary navigation, scoped to your account, Team and page. Explicitly discarding a draft or logging out removes it. Copy your draft if browser storage is unavailable.
 Use **Unsaved new pages** in the tree to resume unsaved new pages kept in this tab. To discard one, resume it and choose **Cancel**.
When another editor saves first, **Review changes** shows the original-to-draft and original-to-latest differences. Review reference targets when asked, edit a resolved version, then choose **Save resolved version**. **Use latest** asks before discarding your draft. If the page was deleted, copy or explicitly discard the draft; it is never automatically recreated.

**Copy link**, **Move**, **Archive** and **Delete** are in the **…** menu next to the page title. **Move** keeps the page identity and history. Wiki references inside the same Team's Wiki follow the move. Links from Project documents remain path references. **Archive** keeps the path and history and hides the page from the default view. Archiving a folder also hides its descendants; restoring the folder preserves pages archived individually. **Delete** keeps history, accessible through **Deleted pages** in the **…** menu above the tree and the old page URL. Folder deletion displays the affected paths for confirmation.

Use **History** to compare two revisions or restore an earlier source as a new draft. Restored Wiki links retain their earlier page identity, even if that page moved and another page now occupies its old path. Deleted targets require reference review; saving still checks for concurrent changes to the page being restored. **Copy link** produces a Wiki reference such as `[[aachat/teams/acme/wiki/pricing.md]]`. A label can be added after `|`; escape brackets, pipes and backslashes in labels with `\`.

Agents edit the same Wiki at `aachat/teams/<team>/wiki/`. Each directory's `README.md` is its guide. Edits made with the runtime's file tools are checked right away, as Project documents are; `chat doc check <path>` checks files edited another way. The generated `_sync.md` reports `Saved`, `Pending` (valid local changes awaiting upload), `Not saved`, or `Conflict` with the time it last checked the files; `_errors.md` gives the reason saving is blocked, listing all problems in local files together, each with its path. Archive a page with `archived: true` in its frontmatter, and delete a page or a whole folder by removing the files. Use `rg --no-ignore-vcs` for current knowledge or `rg --no-ignore` to include archived files. Do not edit the generated index or `_wiki` metadata.

To create `sales/pricing.md`, first create the root `README.md` and `sales/README.md`; both guides need the same required frontmatter as a page:

```markdown
---
title: 料金
purpose: 提案で使う料金条件を共有する
summary: 現行の料金と適用条件
---
本文
```

Folder names and page names without `.md` must match `^[a-z0-9][a-z0-9_-]*$` and be at most 64 characters. `README.md` is the exception; `readme.md` is not allowed. Relative paths are limited to 1024 bytes and 17 components. `title` must be nonempty and at most 120 characters; `purpose` and `summary` must each be nonempty and at most 400 characters. Display titles and body text may use Japanese or other languages.

OS metadata (`.DS_Store`, `.localized`, `Thumbs.db`, `ehthumbs.db`, `ehthumbs_vista.db`, `desktop.ini`) and editor backup, swap and lock files (names ending in `~`, `.swp`, `.swx`, `.bak`, starting with `.#`, or enclosed in `#`) are not synchronized as pages. Swap/backup extensions are case insensitive. This applies to regular files only; symlinks are rejected and directories are still scanned. Other invalid names or frontmatter block Wiki saving and retain the drafts. Keep `_wiki` when moving a page; remove it from a copy intended to become a new page.

Project documents are saved before Wiki validation and upload. A Wiki failure still makes the overall save fail. Inspect `_sync.md` and `_errors.md` for the affected path and reason, fix the draft, and check that `_sync.md` shows `Saved` with a check time after your last edit. Editing a file alone is not proof of acceptance. Diagnostics may remain stale if access is revoked, the Wiki root is unavailable, or diagnostics cannot be written. Reference warnings after a successful save are nonblocking.
